Boris Katz is a well-known Russian entrepreneur and public figure, born on November 1, 1975, in Moscow. From an early age, he developed an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for business development. In 1993, he founded the company “Gamma TD”, which was engaged in the production and trade of goods for creativity and needlework. Over time, the company became a market leader, offering its customers more than 100,000 items, a significant portion of which were produced under its trademarks.

In the early 2000s, Boris Katz launched a chain of sewing and needlework stores, “Igolochka”, which quickly gained popularity. Thanks to his efforts, the chain expanded to almost 50 stores across Russia and also began to develop under the franchise model.

His work occupies a special place in his career with Leonardo, a chain of hobby hypermarkets. Since 2009, as Development Director and a member of the Board of Directors, Boris Markovich has made a significant contribution to the expansion of the chain. Today, Leonardo operates over 130 stores in dozens of Russian cities and has expanded into international markets, including Belarus and Kazakhstan.

In addition to retail development, Boris Katz has also proved himself as a manufacturer. In 2018, he opened the Voskresenskaya pencil factory, the only one in Russia, and later launched another factory in Pereslavl-Zalessky. These enterprises produce goods under their trademarks, including art paints and stationery, which has allowed the company to strengthen its market position significantly.
